10 CIVIL WAR MINIE BALLS SOME ENFIELDS DUG BULLETS - DUG EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA

This auction is for 10 Civil War minie Balls some Enfields- Dug bullets (lot 1). These items were dug by my father on one of his many excursion to Eastern North Carolina to metal detect for civil war artifacts in the 1970's and early 1980's. The bullets are in good condition with a few having marks in the them from where my father hit them with a shovel.

My father was an avid historian. He would study history books and maps to determine the location of battles and skirmishes in Eastern North Carolina. These items were found/dug on one of his many excursions. I do not know the exact location because my father did not keep detail records of his finds. I know he searched for items from Smithfield to Goldsboro to Kinston to New Bern to Morehead City and all areas in between.
I am selling these for my mom who has come to live with us due to the onset of dementia. All proceeds go to her for her use and care.
