- 1920s Madison Square Garage, Baltimore, Maryland. 5.75" x 3.75". Black & white litho on cardboard.
An exceptional promotional giveaway (postcard size) for this early Oldsmobile service center. Photo front depicts four 1920s automobiles parked at garage front.
A choice advertising piece with great eye appeal.
Condition is considered FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Misc. surface creasing & spot litho deterioration (mainly upper center/right area) with one minor 3/8" upper right corner chip. Several very minor edge tears, largest being approx. 1/8".
Overall, despite defects, we feel this card is still a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
It would make a scarce addition for the discriminating OLDSMOBILE and/or VINTAGE ADVERTISING enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7-6).
