Description
Here is a beauty. One owner guitar. This 38 year old American made guitar is in magnificent condition for its age. Guitar weighs 7.6 pounds. There are a few superficial marks on the back of the guitar, and a few on the front, almost all of which are on the pick guard. It appears that nothing is through the clear coat, and if they bother you, I am sure they will buff out. You want to talk about that classic vintage Fender Stratocaster tone? That tone that can only be created by effects the passage of time has on a guitar? Well, here it is!This is a "Dan Smith Era" (1983), 2-Knob, American Stratocaster with the Original Hard Side Case and the tremolo arm. Everything works as it should. Hate to part with her, but I am downsizing and have no choice.
This guitar pre-dates the time when Fender started keeping detailed records on every guitar they produced. So, I am unable to provide all the detailed specs I normally do. Please study the pictures carefully. They are a very important part of the listing.
This guitar plays wonderfully. The action is low and smooth. The neck is straight and true. No truss rod issues. No neck pocket cracks. All original. Played very little. The original case is in great shape. It is a collector's item in itself. And so is the original tremolo bar.
