1998 Chevrolet S-10

Description

LS swap - 1998 Chevrolet S-10 extended cab with stepside bed. Engine is a 4.8 Liter Vortec LS v8 that was swapped in from a GMC Sierra. Transmission is a 4L60e. Vehicle has 3 inch lowering blocks in the back and rides on 20 in rims (look like Vossen wheels). The truck runs and drives, has dual electric fans, uses the factory harness. Brakes are good. Headlights and brake lights are functional. The engine is stock so no big cam lope. It does rev high and fast and has a mean snarl when given the gas. The engine has good power and will xxxx the tires with ease so the fun factor is there. The following parts have been installed: Hooker Blackheart steering shaft to eliminate the rag joint play and provide header clearance. New power steering pump, high pressure hose, and pulley,  new alternator, tensioner, and serpentine belt, new center link, inner and outer tie rods, idler and pitman arms, new universal joints and carrier bearing for the two piece driveshaft (all Moog parts), new transmission mount and rear transmission seal, Pegasus Racing coolant hoses, cold air intake tube, AC Delco fuel pump, spark plugs, Accel ceramic coil wires, power brake booster (smaller to clear the coil), and Russell high pressure braided stainless steel fuel lines. A lot of has been done and will be a good start for someone interested in the LS engine swap scene and wants to avoid the cost and hassle of installing the engine and trans in their next project. Interior is fair. Seats are good. Dash is cracked, but an excellent replacement is included. Dual exhaust is complete from front to back. Two replacement fenders will be included. There is no heat or AC. Auto Meter oil pressure and temperature (electronic) gauges wired and functional. Fuel gauge not wired. 3 gauge bezel included. This is a project, low cost, LS swap, requiring additional work/refinement. It does not come with a guarantee or warranty. Drive it as is or take it to the next level.
