(2) 1962 & 1965 OLDSMOBILE NEW MODEL SALES BROCHURE BOOKLETS PASADENA ESTATE

Description

Personally acquired during my mid century high school days in northeast Los Angeles (think Highland Park /  Eagle Rock / Pasadena)  are these two (2) Oldsmobile automobile brochure booklets,  for model years 1962 and 1965. Promotionals of this sort were once an enticing staple of car dealership showrooms - this well preserved duo resurfaced after spending five and a half decades hidden between books stored at my mother's house.  The 1962 booklet has twenty-seven numbered pages and a print code of . The 1965 has twenty-one numbered pages and a print code of. Models represented include the "Ninety-Eight", the "Starfire", various incarnations of the "88", the iconic Olds "442" of 1965, several lesser "F-85" versions (including Cutlass and station wagon versions). There are year specific equipment and engine specification charts for each model at the back of both.  Condition is quite good though not absolutely pristine perfect, with just a subtle aura of time and very brief period perusal. There are some typical and expected minor handling cockles from my actually reading them in the 1960's - the 1962 has a tiny (I mean really tiny) bend at the extreme top left corner tip of the back cover. Be aware I'm nitpicking for absolute accuracy here, they are pretty nice overall (see pics). A look at those pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition.
