    Description

For sale - 2000 FL60 Camper Project- Big Blue
I bought this ambulance in 2020 and fixed it up to register it legally as an RV then started a complete camper van type rebuild. I got through demo, planning and purchasing most things for the build but ran out of time to complete the build… life has a way of getting busy when you’re trying to do something like this. Drove this across the country last winter (2023) with no issues (AL to CA). Currently parked in the Concord, CA area.

Tested the two 24V LIFEPO4 batteries for voltage when taking pictures this past weekend and one shows 25V the other only 6V. Probably a loose connection in the box, but don’t have time to look into it. Most of the items for this build were purchased a couple of years ago, but everything was purchased new so it should still work - selling much lower than amount invested to account for a couple of items not working.
ABS light is on for a wheel sensor - haven't had time to look further into.
Answers to some of the questions that have been asked:
Vehicle is registered as California Motorhome with registration paid through November 2024. SMOG not required when I registered it last November (diesel motor homes exempt) not sure of future requirements with CA motorhome CARB requirements changing.
The truck is equipped with AC but currently disconnected at the compressor. Needs a different fitting and system charge due to originally connecting to unit in box then box to cab.
It’s a 24 valve diesel. Oil was changed 3000 miles ago with 5w-40 T6 fully synthetic, air filter was changed a couple months back. Fuel filter and separator filter changed about 3000 miles ago.
Average between flats and through the mountains was 10.5mpg at 70mph for AL to CA trip. I’ve averaged closer to 14-15mpg at 55mph.
I’ll revise this description if I think of anything else. Ask me any questions you may have. Happy bidding.
