This guitar is in EXCELLENT condition - no chips, dings, pits, or buckle rash.  It does have the typical light plastic pick scratches on the pick guard and at spots in the finish that you expect from a guitar that has been carefully played, but the scratching is only in the lacquer and not evident unless you look into the light at an angle (and even then, it's impossible to show in the photos and not really evident).  The guitar was recently set up by my outstanding guitar wizard (luthier), and it plays perfectly - the frets are polished to perfection, the neck is straight as an arrow, and the sound is everything you want from an LP Standard (clear note articulation, great feel, impeccable sound, and sustain for days).  The only customization is that I've taken a tiny bit of the gloss out of the back of the neck to make the guitar faster in your hand (all that gloss makes them sticky); if you want the high gloss back on the neck, it's super easy for any guitar shop to put back on for you, but you'll like it much better this way!  It's a AA maple top on a gorgeous desert burst finish.  The volume and tone knobs are push/pull, featuring split coil, out of phase, and true bypass options.  All pots work perfectly and perform as designed.  I've used this guitar on numerous recordings, and it sounds cherry!  I'm selling only to thin my collection, nothing more.  Bid with confidence, you'll be very happy with this guitar.  Shipping only to the lower 48.
