Dug by me in Jan 1974 at the GREAT RAILROAD REDOUBT-Vicksburg
▪️Dug at a Confederate support camp behind the RR Redoubt.
▪️This is for 2 .69 caliber TOWER Minni’ balls that WAS DUG in camp BEHIND the Great RR Redoubt.
▪️Looks to have been carved on-Cut off-Whittled and then discarded.
🔺Found on private property with permission from the property owners. Everything in this auction was obtained from private property, with permission of the property owners. Nothing was dug on any site without verbal or written permission.
▪️Only been lightly cleaned with a toothbrush.
Guaranteed 100% authenticity and from where stated. I always kept good records of my finds, relics were bagged & tagged as to what-when-where found. Provenance guaranteed from person who dug this.
Wife & I are retired now and downsizing, she says my 50+ years of digging and collecting war relics must go, so I guess its time to let someone else enjoy them now.
