    Description

We are working as partners in conjunction with Gettysburg Relics to offer some very nice American Civil War relics for sale.
THE BATTLE OF ANTIETAM / RECOVERED FROM A FARM ALONG THE MANSFIELD ROAD / NEAR THE MUMMA FARM AND THE EAST WOODS FIGHTING - A Fired impact .577 Caliber 3-Ring Bullet with dirt still in the cavity
This fired impact .577 caliber 3-Ring was recovered by a relic hunter from a farm along the Mansfield Road at Antietam, close to the Mumma Farm and East Woods (private property, with permission). Judging by the battle maps, this would have been a Federal position.  I acquired this artifact directly from the digger before 2008
. A letter of provenance will be included.
