    This 1980's constructed Bill Lawrence guitar is in wonderful condition, electronics work exactly as they should. Bill Lawrence guitars were made for the Japanese market - not for export. There is a fair amount of information on the internet regarding the Bill Lawrence/Japan story. Suffice to say, this is a very well made guitar. It plays and sounds like a champ. Construction is superb. It is missing a few of the machine head covers, although this does not affect their function; It holds tune just fine. There are a few small paint chips which I have attempted to show in the photos. Overall, the finish is superb considering the age of the guitar. Very little fret wear; you will not be disappointed with this guitar that is bound to be a classic. Weighs in at 8 pounds 2oz.
