Heavy solid brass front. Steel cased back control box. All original operating components are present. Untested. Extremely rare to find in this condition with everything intact. Even the glass on the emergency switch is intact. Look at the cloth insulation on the wiring. Switches operate, and the lever arm moves from right to left and is still spring activated. Operates when you pull outward on the knob. Definitely early 1900’s. The only thing missing are the four screws that hold the front on. Item is fully intact with no damage noted. Ready for a movie set or photo shoot where having the real thing is necessary, or just to own a piece of early Americana. This is the real thing! See photos for more details. I’m ready to answer any questions. Interesting that the logo at the top matches all of the other Otis logos I find online, but the name is missing from the middle. Might help with dating or placing this particular artifact.
