    Description

I personally dug this beautiful dropped .58 cal. minie ball bullets
at a Civil War CSA campsite in the history rich region of Appomattox, Va  - the final resting place of all Civil War relics!
I have joined it with a pin for you to display most anywhere you want...
Both the North and South used the .58 cal 3 ringer so the particular campsite or battle positions give the context of who was using these (Confederates).  These dug bullets do a great job of preserving, commemorating and memorializing the end of the American Civil War when on April 9th, 1865 General Robert E Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia at the McLean House in the small village of the Appomattox, Va. court house.
Since it is a heavy bullet you might want to pin this unique charm on your sweatshirt or jacket, etc.  Specialty adhesives and jewelry-making techniques have been used for a good strong, personally tested, lasting hold!  From an artistic approach, we even take the time to make sure the bonding adhesives blend well with the relics so there is no "shiny" adhesive spots to distract from its natural historical beauty.
These relics are in no way harmed or ruined and could be restored to their original state if you desired to do so.
Upon receipt, some may want to further wash the relics or even seal them (I leave these preference-decisions up to you).
Each piece is a very slow process that takes a lot of time to finally make available (search, unearth, match-up, create, solidify, photograph & list).  We offer both guaranteed authentic Civil War relics and cool dug antique artifacts as well -
all personally recovered by us and fashioned for use with the antique & civil-war enthusiast in mind!
Prices vary with relics used and time involved.
All relics were dug on private property with land owner's permission. Go and have some instructional fun displaying a small piece of our U.S. history.
