VINTAGE BUTTER DISH WITH COVER
BLUE & WHITE PRINT
CURRIER AND IVES WINTER SLEIGH RIDE
This is a vintage piece of collectible tablewear.
Made by Royal China, though there is no maker's mark to be found.
I don't know the exact title of the pattern, but I have seen it called the The Winter Road, The Winter Ride, and The Sleigh Ride.  The scene depicted is a Victorian Era couple in a wooden sleigh pulled by a pair of horses in winter.  The image is in Blue on white china.
The butter dish itself measures about 7 7/8 inches long (from side to side), 4 inches wide, and 1" high at the edge or lip.  There is an indent or depression in the dish to keep the butter contained and slightly above that a lip for the lid to stay out of the butter.
The lid is 5 13/16 long, 2 3/4 wide and 1 1/2 inches high.
Both pieces are in excellent condition.  There are no cracks, chips, or crazing.  The image is clean, crisp, and the blue is true.
SHIPPING
Shipping is based on weight and distance.  Due to the fragile nature of the product, it will be heavily wrapped and double boxed, which adds to the overall weight.  I will use USPS Flat Rate boxes where possible and will combine shipping whenever I can.
