    Description

    Excellent dug condition with a nice super slick white patina and no damage on this choice dropped US five point swaged base Civil War bullet. You will not find a better dug example! This is M&M 343 and T&T 153. These were produced in machines made by J.D. Custer of Philadelphia. The spokes in the base were made by a lathe during the manufacturing process and there are both five and six spoke varieties. Dug decades ago on private property with permission near the famous Miller’s Cornfield by Karl Young. Top shelf example !
