This Fender 62 Custom Telecaster is a recent consignment at Mike's Music and Sound. The Tele is in excellent condition and has been completely restrung and setup by our guitar department with 10-46 strings. Body has some light scratches, but nothing major through the finish. Neck is clean with no dings and frets have light wear. Pictures are the actual guitar for sale and not stock images. Guitar will include adjustment wrenches, and all the original documentation, including ashtray bridge cover, vintage cable and strap. Mike's Music and Sound is a small family owned, single store and most of our inventory is on display for our customers to see and play. We rotate and service our display inventory on a regular basis and condition is noted each time. Our staff will fully inspect and test the guitar before we ship and if we do by chance find an issue with your order, you will be notified immediately and given options if need be.

Introduced because maple tended to show wear, rosewood became a popular fingerboard option that also added warmth to the classic Telecaster® tone. The American Vintage '62 Custom Telecaster has a double-bound alder body and multi-ply pickguard that distinguish it from its Butterscotch predecessor. In the spirit of the original, it has a C-shaped maple neck, 7.25"-radius rosewood fingerboard, dual '62 Custom Telecaster single-coil pickups, vintage Telecaster bridge with threaded steel saddles, and original Tele® circuit with three-position switch.
