Fender Stratocaster Relic'd Body - Nitro Surf Green

Ok this was a purple squier guitar. The neck was trashed out so I sanded and painted the body with nitro and relic'd it. I have sold 41 of these on ebay and that other site you know about. So it photographed kinda blue but I took the photos into photoshop and tried to correct them so they are close. Also please not that it changes color on purpose mostly on the sides to make it look older. The thing about this body is that it is not basswood like all the others I've seen. It actually looks like ma_______y to me but could be al__r. Also because it is too heavy for basswood weighing in at 4.1 lbs. The whole guitar weighed about 8 lbs. I set it up with a relic'd white pickguard and some spare parts so you can get an ideal of what it might look like. Of course black always works. Standard neck pocket with no sanding inside it to change it - just a thin coat of nitro.  If you're unfamiliar with nitrocellulose then know that it's a thinner paint that cars used to be painted with and that's what they used back when fender first started making strats. You can easily relic it more it you like. All fender squier and MIM parts should fit - all necks even usa should fit also. Build somthin!
