    Description

We are working as partners in conjunction with Gettysburg Relics to offer some very nice American Civil War relics for sale.
THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG - CEMETERY RIDGE - FROM THE SEDGWICK MONUMENT TO THE NORTHERN SLOPE OF LITTLE ROUND TOP - THE ROSENSTEEL FAMILY COLLECTION - A relic condition high-velocity 3-Ring Bullet fragment (impossible to tell what the original caliber was, as it has been mangled almost beyond recognition)
This one is from a scarce site from the Rosensteel collection which came to us in very small numbers.
This very nice relic condition high-velocity 3-Ring Bullet fragment (impossible to tell what the original caliber was, as it has been mangled almost beyond recognition), was found in the woods on Cemetery Ridge that run from the Sedgwick Monument up the northern slope of Little Round Top. There are very few relics from this location left in our inventory. This artifact was a part of the collection of Iva Rosensteel-Rider (born in 1887 and died in 1964), sister of George Rosensteel (founder of the Gettysburg National Museum and the famous Electric Map) so the provenance could not be better. This is the first time that this artifact is being offered for public sale and I feel very privileged in the opportunity to offer it. The Rosensteels were, of course, the most famous artifact collecting family in Gettysburg and the bulk of the relics on display at today's Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center come from the Rosensteels.
A provenance letter will be provided with this relic.
    Thank you for viewing!
