    THE BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG PA
    - THE ROSENSTEEL COLLECTION - FOUND BY JOHN CULLISON -  Artillery Case Shot Ball or musket ball with casting line (it is about .66 caliber according to our calipers)
John Cullison hunted between the 1930s and about 1960. His early finds were all "eyeballed" and later he started using a detector (in the 1950's, I believe).  Artillery Case Shot Ball or musket ball with casting line (it is about .66 caliber according to our calipers),
was once part of the famous Rosensteel Collection of Gettysburg.  This artifact was in a group of relics that were identified as having been found by John Cullison.  The relics were acquired directly from the collection in the mid-1990s by The Horse Soldier of Gettysburg and was, afterwards in a private collection for many years. A provenance letter will be included.
