Branch.
The building was built in the Beaux-Arts style in 1901 and has been preserved as a city landmark.

It is because of its
gold
-leafed
dome
, that it came to be known as the "
Gold
Dome
" Bank.
This model comes up occasionally, but is often missing the very distinctive and fragile finial at the top of the
dome
(See photos, especially the one showing an example without this finial).
This one is intact.
The name of the bank can be seen above the front door, just as it appears on the original bank.
It measures 4 1/4" high x 5" wide and in VG to excellent pre-owned condition.
There is a coin slot behind the dome which twists to retrieve the coins. Note: Postcards not included.
