Description

For sale is a vintage metal souvenir building replica of the Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Co. of Greensboro, NC, made by A C Rehberger for the 50th anniversary of the company in 1957.
Compare # 1142 in Monumental Miniatures which give it a IV/V rating in rarity and a 4/6 in value (0-0).

The bottom trap is intact, but as is the case with these older banks, the key is missing.
Note: this is NOT the later Banthrico version, but a well detailed Rehberger, that is very heavy, weighing approximately 1 & 3/4 lbs.
It is in very good condition with only age-appropriate wear.
The base reads: Jefferson Standard Life Ins., Co. / Fiftieth Anniversary / Home Office Greensboro, N.C. /1907   1957.
