'Steampunk' is a subgenre of science fiction that has given rise to a new cultural aesthetic that incorporates technology and design cues from 19th century industrial steam-powered machines. It is in this spirit that Moxy gives birth to these special guitars.
The alder body here is cut into a Tele form and features a distressed swirl finish with brass additions as well as a amperes gauge.
The mid weight here offers a good balance between cutting midrange and natural resonance.
Dual custom wound Benson pickups bring a wide range of classic and modern tones.
The bridge pickup is a single coil- this provides brilliant cleans and 3 dimensional overdrives.
The neck pickup is a standard single coil for the warm comps and sweet overdriven sustain you expect on a Tele style guitar.
The maple/rosewood neck here has an oval C profile.
Add to that the 12" fingerboard radius and satin finish and you have an exceptional player.
The Gotoh 6 saddle bridge and tuners enable exceptional tuning stability and intonation.
