    Description

This is a rare Willow Art China Porcelain Model of Plas Mawr Royal Academy in Stratford on Avon, England.
Plas Mawr (English: Great Hall) is an Elizabethan townhouse in Conwy, North Wales, dating from the 16th century.
By the 1880s, the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art became concerned about the condition of Plas Mawr, and in 1887 it was leased to the Academy for use as their headquarters.
It was produced and signed by
T R Hammond of Conway who was the sole agent for Goss China Co., and “dealt in stationery and fancy goods” C. 1915.
This came from the Connecticut Estate of collector Theodora Gibson Berg who was an avid traveler and collector of porcelain souvenirs.
    It measures 4.5” W x 2.5” D by 4” Tall.
