PLUG BASE .69 Minie’ Ball. Dug At Battle of IUKA, MISSISSIPPI.
Nice condition.69 plug base minnie. From my limited knowledge, these are early pre-war bullets. I can’t say if these were US or CS used.
Dug in January 1970.
Nice shape and a good bullet to have. It’s Not a cone shaped base.
Wife & I are retired now and downsizing, she says my 50+ years of digging and collecting war relics must go, so I guess its time to let someone else enjoy them now.
Guaranteed 100% authenticity and from where stated. I always kept good records of my finds, relics were bagged & tagged as to what-when-where found. Provenance guaranteed from person who dug this.
only been lightly cleaned with a toothbrush.
These relics were dug by me using a metal detector, dug on private property with permission.
