    Description

    Own a piece of American history. This sale is for a HARD HAT worn at Ground Zero and the  the Staten Island Forensic Recovery Site. I was a first responder on September 11 and worked at the Staten Island Recovery Site from October 2001 until the site was closed in June 2002. The small 4" x 6" folded FLAG on the side of the Hard Hat was the stick FLAG that I wore on site.( I added a new stick FLAG to show what it looked like at the recovery site). The 12" x 18" Flag was attached to the ATVs or buggies that were used for transportation on the Forensic Recovery Site. These artifacts were made available to the volunteers when the project ended. The Staten Island Recovery Site photos shown on the listing are for information and not part of this sale. (I'm the shorter guy with the white shirt shown the in last two photos).
    The Flag can be signed and the dates of service at Ground Zero (9/11 to 9/13) and the Staten Island Forensic Site (Oct 2001 to June 2002) can be added to the Flag upon request.
