Sharps carbine bullet recovered near Battle of Yellow Tavern

Description

Union Sharps carbine bullet recovered from the garden of a woman who lived on Francis Road in Glen Allen, Virginia. This is very near the Battle of Yellow Tavern where J.E.B Stuart was mortally wounded by a Yankee cavalryman. Over the years, the lady who lived here found a jar full of mostly dropped carbine bullets while doing yardwork around her house.
