SOUL BLUES PHOTO: ETTA JAMES in Ter-Mar (Chess) studio, Chicago, 1973 (8x10)
This 8x10 black & white glossy photo by Living Blues co-editor Amy van Singel was taken at Chess Records’ Ter-Mar Recording Studios in 1973 at a promotional event where Etta James was singing songs to tracks from her new Chess LP. This is one of a number of shots from the event. Others can be printed on request.
Digitally processed from original 35mm negative.

For copyright protection, this eBay image is low resolution. The actual photo is sharper.
This image is from the O'Neal/van Singel
    Living Blues c
ollection. I and my then-wife Amy took photos of almost every blues artist who was performing in Chicago in the 1970s and '80s, as well as many in Mississippi, Arkansas, Memphis, Detroit and St. Louis, and many soul singers, too. More photos will be listed on eBay.
