Stangl Large Ashtray with Pheasant, USED, FLAT RATE SHIPPING

Beautiful large ashtray by Stangl with Pheasant motif. Made in USA. Stamped "Stangl" on back twice. Reason unknown. Also has initials which appear to be either "IB" or "JB" on back. There is a number on the back which is difficult to read. First few numbers are 392xx. Unable to read last 2. The word "Pheasant" stamped on back. Ashtray in beautiful shades of brown, blue, black, white, beige. Beautiful details on pheasant in similar colors with a touch of red around the eye. Age unknown but has been in family for many years. Stangl pottery was made in New Jersey. The original company was called Fulper Pottery but changed it's name to Stangl in 1955. Company ceased to exist in 1978. Stangl is still highly collectible. This particular ashtray was part of the Sportsmen's Giftware Line of products. Size--approximately 8 inches high,  a little more than 10 inches wide and approximately 2 inches deep. A lovely piece.
