Stangl Pottery Antique Gold #5004 Rectangular Ashtray / Candy Dish 12.25" x 6.5"

Description

Designed and manufactured by Stangl Pottery located in Trenton, New Jersey, this rectangular ashtray was assigned a pattern number of 5004 and the 5004 pattern was produced by Stangl from 1959 until 1971. The ashtray was finished in the Antique Gold glaze. Although it was originally desinged as an ashtray, it would serve very well as a candy dish sitting on a table.  It measures approximately 12.25 inches in length, 6.5 inches in width, and 1.5 inches in height. The w
eight is approximately 2 pounds.
Please see all 12 photographs as they are part of the description. The bright white areas in the photos are from light reflections off of the glaze when the photographs were taken. The ashtray/candy dish is in excellent condition. There are no breaks, chips, repairs, or crazing. The glaze is bright and shiny, and it displays very well as you can tell from the photographs.
