STAX ENTERPRISE ALBUM COVER PHOTO: DAVID PORTER Victim of the Joke (1971)
Photo of the cover of David Porter’s 1971 LP Victim of the Joke on Enterprise, a subsidiary of Stax Records.
This is an original 1971 glossy black & white print on 5x8 paper. The size of the image of the album cover “mini” is 4x4. These photos were used in print promotions in catalogs, ads, newspapers, etc.
This is one of many original vintage items that I have to sell from the archival collection of the Leaner family's record businesses, including
    One-derful Records,
    Tone Recording Studio, and
United Record Distributors, the company that distributed Stax in Chicago. This collection,
rescued more than 30 years ago from the Leaners' abandoned headquarters,
    includes
signed contracts, cancelled checks, sheet music, and studio logs.
Inquiries welcome from buyers with more serious offers than I have received in the past.
Combined shipping available on multiple purchases.
If you have any problems with your order, please contact me before opening a case with eBay.
