Teisco Mid 1960s, Anodized guard, 2PUs, Large Headstock, Vibrato, Smooth Action

Description

Teisco (may be from the Kawai factory) two pickup model, mid-1960s with an aluminum anodized pickguard and an original secondary overlaid chrome pick guard. It has a vibrato bar, a set neck with 5-bolt reinforcement, and all the electronics are working fine. The guitar is a rare find, and it has a lot of character!
The whole guitar has been setup, including a neck adjustments, fret leveling, action adjustments, and all general maintenance, but without removing parts or altering the originality of the instrument.
It is all intact, except the original whammy bar, the original tone knob, and the bass "E" tuner knob. You can restore it even more if you find the three missing original parts. It has the usual tour-related scratches, small dents and minor dings for a 1966 vintage guitar, but it still has the original finish. The face of this guitar is in very good condition with only some flaking of the chrome pick guard and minor road wear. There is finish discoloration and some checking. On the back side, there are a few filled screw holes that have been polished up to look decent. It is extremely difficult to find one of these low-production, very rare guitars. There is no case.
