    Description

This is The Temple of Hephaestus or Hephaisteion, which was formerly called the Theseion or "Theseum in error.
It is also commonly confused with the Parthenon which it clearly is not.
It is a well-preserved Greek temple that remains standing largely intact. It is a Doric peripteral temple, and is located in Athens, on top of the Agoraios Kolonos hill. The building's condition has been well maintained due to its history of continuous varied use.
This version is marked as being made by “Metamei”, in Greece.
The Temple looks like white metal with a heavy coppery bronze plating.
The temple is mounted onto a white marble or possibly alabaster base.
To me this looks the 1950’s work?
The only issue I see is some discoloration on the roof but there are no breaks, dents, or chips I can find.
It measures 5.5” wide by 3.5” deep by 3.75” tall.
