Description
I dug these three Rebel Minies in Hoke's NC division's trench at the Battle of Bentonville, NC in the early 1970's. I've seen these referred to as both a product of the Selma, AL Arsenal and also as a product of the Charleston, SC Arsenal; I believe the latter is correct. Two are 57 caliber and the other is a rare 54 caliber bullet. I was lucky enough to have family that owned large tracts of land on the battlefield and could dig freely with my Metrotech detector. These sell for about twenty bucks a piece; don't miss this opportunity to acquire some really nice CS drops with solid provenance.
