Vintage 60's Stangl Antique Black Gold Square Ashtray

Vintage Mid-Century Stangl Ashtray produced in the 60's. Square ashtray labeled Black Gold. Unique Antique Black Gold ashtray has 3 cigarette rests and one cigar rest. Hand-painted with a fabulous patina which is slightly washed away.  Only 2 Felt strips are found on the bottom, to protect furniture and pottery piece. Stangl was a pottery company in Trenton New Jersey which is no longer in business.  Great design because the lit cigarette rested in ashtray and never fell onto furniture because of the extra groove on the edges of ashtray.

The ashtray is in used pre-owned condition with one corner chip.  It used to have more gold highlights.
