Vintage Antique Elevator Control Panel. This Was Likely Used For Fire And Rescue Purposes? This Is Made Of Heavy Brass With Green And Red Glass Floor Indicators. A Magnet Will Not Stick To This. I'm Guessing This Is From The 1930s 1940s Time Frame. It Is Heavy And Weighs 7 Pounds. It Is 23" x 6" In Size. There Is Some Minor Paint Residue On The Sides And Rear. The Manufacturer Is Unknown...No Markings. There Is An On/Off Toggle Switch Near The Bottom And A Microphone/Speaker Port Near The Top. The Green Glass Floor Indicators Are For Floors 1-10. The Red Glass Floor Indicators Are For Floors 2-11. Shipped With USPS Ground Advantage. Please See My Other Items. He Serviced Many Otis Elevators During His Career Including Those At The New York Life (Insurance) Building During Its Renovation Period. The Elevators Were Renovated In The 1970s. The 40 Story New York Life Building Was Built In 1926-1928 At 51 Madison Avenue In NYC. It Is On The National Register Of Historic Places.
