Vintage Egyptian Obelisk Souvenir Building

Description

This is an older vintage Souvenir from Egypt. I am not sure but I believe it is from the 1960’s or earlier.
To me it looks like a real cottage industry thing.
While on the crude side it is not without its charms.
It has good size and weight and the embellishments are classic old kingdom motifs.
It is finished in bronze over a silver base metal however, it seems too heavy to be commonly known “white metal”.
The monument itself is 9” tall including the 8” x 3” square marble base.
It weighs 2 pounds.
The condition is generally good vintage.
There are factory flaws but otherwise it only seems to suffer from age appropriate wear.
