Description

This glossy framed black and white photo is packed with interest!  Although the exact location is not perfectly clear to me, the huge building in the background with the arched windows reads:
DYNAMICS CORPORATION OF AMERICA.
A bit of research indicates its location remains in Greenwich, Connecticut with no other locations shown.  Other clues may be the store sign on the left reading:
EDWARDS GALLERIES, LTD. OBJECTS D'ART
and some sort of camera related store on the right with the words ZEISS IKON and KODAK on the window. And much hustle and bustle going on! Many pedestrians wearing overcoats (burrrr) walking past the SHOE SHINE STAND with proprietor and seated customer and two phone booths....trace of a woman standing in the one most visible??? An AGE clue is the electric 'WALK' sign on the far left behind the heads of walkers....the first one was installed in New York in 1952.  Framed under glass (sorry for a few reflections) photo including the frame measures 5 1/8" x 7 1/8".  A fun look back!
